Because our layout is modular, we can run some pretty long trains. This photo was taken in Plano last January 2014 when our layout measured 20x28 ft. At the Texas Western show in September 2015, we reduced it to only 20x16 ft. The Club jointly owns and maintains the yard, three of the corners, the impressive front spread and the electronics, and maintains an air-conditioned storage unit to store it all in between shows. Some individual members have chosen to build their own modules, or revise older Club modules. Others just help with set up, take down and then we all run our trains. We can accommodate both DC and DCC engines and just about any N scale equipment..
Normally, our meetings are the third Thursday of each month, at Hobby World in Fort Worth. See you there at 6:30 PM.
TRINITY N-TRAK is an N scale modul railroad club using the N-TRAK standard to promote model railroading in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area. The club sets up and operates its award-winning layout at all the major Fort Worth and Dallas train shows and also has a few work/play sessions throughout the year to tune-up the modules for shows. Membership is currently open, and if you are interested in learning more about the club or joining, come to our next meeting, introduce yourself and meet everyone. Or drop us a note at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll contact you.
